Our journey started in 2014, IPD Group purchased Hivotech a niche High Voltage manufacturing and testing business based out of Burnie, Tasmania. With more than 25 years in the Electrical and High voltage industry, Hivotech is a world leader in the manufacturing, testing and maintenance of High Voltage testing equipment. Today our Tasmanian depot is the R&D hub for IPD Services and continues to work with customers throughout Australia and New Zealand when it comes to Innovation and Safety. In 2017, our services portfolio expanded further as we purchased Central Test, a leading test and calibration company based in Bendigo Victoria. The Bendigo facility houses our NATA certified test laboratory which is accredited to perform Voltage testing up to 120, 000 Volts and Current testing up to 1040 Amps. With over 50 years of experience and operating since 2004, our customers primarily include Victorian Power Utilities and Industrial, Mining and Vegetation Management companies.
